Become an AmeriCorps Member

Our AmeriCorps members make a difference in the lives of youth every day through academics, out-of-school programs, and more. They devote a year of their lives to these amazing communities.

Join our Board of Directors

Alpine Achievers Initiative is looking for people interested in impacting the lives in San Luis Valley youth by joining our board of directors. The average commitment of a board member is 4 hours per month. This can be via organizational outreach, AmeriCorps training support, fulfilling duties of an officer position, or several other contributions.

Request AmeriCorps Members

Alpine Achievers Initiative AmeriCorps members sometimes need additional service hours to achieve their AmeriCorps obligations. Do you need volunteers for a special youth-based event in a community we serve? Request AmeriCorps members at your next event by filling out a Special Event Request Form. We’ll pass on the opportunity to our members if the event aligns with AAI values (preference goes to youth-based events).

Host an AmeriCorps Member

Each school and site has different challenges. Having an AmeriCorps member gives sites the flexibility to utilize them throughout the day where they are needed most. Do you think your school could be a new service site?
